Overview : REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL BIH/RFP/029/14 Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a member of the UNFCCC is obli-gated to undertake the reporting activities such as: to calculate annual GHG emissions using a defined methodology and reporting to the Conference of Parties (CoP) of the Convention; introduce and implement measures to mitigate the consequences of climate change by regulating anthropogenic emissions and adaptation measures to climate change; cooperate in the development and transfer of technology, methods and processes that lead to limits, reductions and stabilization of GHG emissions; include an assessment of climate change impacts and appropriate strategies and economic development policies that aim to minimize negative consequences of climatic changes for the economy, the environment, and the health of the population; conduct systematic observation and research, data exchange and information sharing on climate and climate change with the aim of improving scientific findings on the causes and consequences of climate change. The overall objective of this assignment is to provide an updated GHG inventory for the period 2010-2011. Activities will also result in increased capacity to calculate the inventory and to address data gaps. Data and estimates will be documented and archived in a way that adheres to IPCC Good Practice Guidelines and ensures accessibility and continuity for future communications.
