Description: Following the presentation, under the slogan "A vision becomes reality", of the executive design for the new Museum of Contemporary Arts giving the Ars Aevi collection a permanent home, and in accordance to the available and presently committed resources, from the donors (European Union, Republic of Italy / AICS Italian Agency for development cooperation and the Canton of Sarajevo) UNESCO invites qualified companies, to apply for the Construction of the Museum of Contemporary Art "Ars Aevi", Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina,

United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies to submit sealed tenders as follows:
Construction of the Museum of Contemporary Art "Ars Aevi", Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Expected Procurement Components
- Implementation of required construction, installation and equipping works, in accordance to the executive design completed by the studio Non Stop from Sarajevo under overall coordination by the Renzo Piano Building Workshop from Genova ;
- The construction works are to be implemented in a way ensuring required ensuring environmental sustainability and with minimal or no CO2 emission, during construction process and upon inauguration of the building.
The purpose of this notice is to provide general information on the requirements for the procurement process and to inform interested suppliers how to obtain a copy of the Solicitation Documents.
Interested companies who wish to participate in the OIC must request for a complete set of Solicitation Documents, available free of charge, from UNESCO contact person at the address shown below.
The sealed tenders must be delivered to the UNESCO, Antenna Office in Sarajevo of the Regional Bureau for Science & Culture in Europe on or before 16/02/2026 at 12:00 hours (Central European Time), in strict compliance with the instructions as stipulated in the Solicitation Documents.

UNESCO reserves the right to amend the documents at any time during the solicitation process. Any amendments or clarifications will be communicated directly to all Bidders who have requested for a complete set of solicitation documents and officially confirmed their intention to submit a sealed tender. No remuneration will be made to companies for preparation and submission of their tenders.
