The Bosnia and Herzegovina/Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has received loans for financing from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and European Investment Bank (EIB) toward the cost of the Federation Road Sector Modernization Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Construction of Tunnel Žaba (Hutovo) L = 975 m1 and Roads P 142 — P 164 L = 525 m1; P 204 – P 250 L = 1 125 m1

 

This contract will be jointly financed by the European Investment Bank and the World Bank. Bidding process will be governed by the World Bank’s rules and procedures as an International Competitive Bidding (ICB).

 

1. The JP Ceste Federacije BIH doo, Sarajevo now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for: Construction of Tunnel Žaba (Hutovo) L = 975 m1 and Roads P 142 — P 164 L = 525 m1; P 204 — P 250 L = 1 125 m1

 

2. Anticipated period for reconstruction will be 730 days.

 

3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers 1.2011, revised 7.2014 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to Paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

 

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from JP Ceste Federacije BIH doo, Sarajevo, Sektor međunarodnih investicija, upon written request by Email: pit@jpcfbih.ba and inspect the bidding documents, with prior announcement, during office hours 9:00 to 15:00 hours at the address given below.

 

5. A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of BAM 200 or in freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be as follows:

Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on 27.3.2018 at 12:00 am local time.
